Wednesday Wish List

This week I've been mostly lusting after beautiful dresses from Lady Vintage and Lindy Bop, so today's wish list is made up entirely of their dresses. Thirty of them, to be exact.

Both brands have released some seriously stunning dresses this week, and if I was rich I'd buy them all in a heart beat. Since I'm not, I'm going to have to make do with coveting them from afar,... although I'm not sure why I'm willingly tormenting myself further by making these wish lists.

Just look at all of these gorgeous new dresses from Lady Vintage! The new prints, colourful fabrics, and designs are to die for. I can't decide which style or print I love best. At the moment it's between the black and green enchanting birds (#1-6), and the amethyst rose (#10-12 and 21). I'd love to have at least a piece of each print in my wardrobe before they sell out. I may have ordered myself the black enchanting birds tea dress (#2) last week. I've never tried one of their tea dresses before, so I'm keeping everything crossed that it'll fit and suit me. If not, I'll probably just swap it for a Hepburn, which I know always does.

I would also like to get my hands on so many of Lindy Bop's brand new dresses. Just look at these little beauties! I love the wide variety of styles and designs in the collection. There are so many beautiful prints, gorgeous colours, and lovely fabrics to choose from. My favourites are the polka dot Matilda shirt swing dresses (#1-3), particularly the red and black design, and the lemon print Carola halter neck swing dress (#7). If they could magically appear in my wardrobe, I'd be one happy bunny.

I would never be able to pull this off myself, but this is gorgeous.

The world's oceans are so full of rubbish that sea life are using it for their shells, and to shelter in, or like the octopus, they just get trapped in them. This makes me sad.


I know these aren't real photos, but I think they're beautiful just the same.

Colourful Collage: Cobalt Blue

It's been a couple of months since I last shared a colourful collage, so today's post is well over due. This time I've put together a cobalt blue themed flatlay.

Cobalt blue is one of my absolute favourite colours, but I don't actually own a huge amount of stuff in that colour. Not as much as I wish I did, anyway. I'll have to work on that!

I did manage to find enough things to turn in to a flatlay, though, so here are some of the cobalt blue things I own...



1. The ugliest old peep toe sandal I've had for about a decade.
2. An old little cross body bag. I think it was from Dorothy Perkins or Accessorize.
3. A pocket size bottle of Nivea factor 30 sun cream.
4. A bottle of Estée Lauder gentle make up remover, my Mum gave to me cause she never uses it.
5. A new bottle of the most gorgeous glittery blue Barry M Speedy Quick Dry nail polish called 'Supersonic'.
6. A tube of Winton oil colour paint in 'French Aquamarine'.
7. A keeper belt I bought from Dorothy Perkins three or four years ago.
8. Disney's Cinderella on DVD.
9. A sheet of tissue paper from Hobbycraft.
10. A pack of Paul & Joe blotting papers with the cutest whale-print packaging.
11. An Accessorize fabric hair tie.
12. A MUA Intense Colour eyeliner in 'Royal Blue'.
13. A beaded bracelet, part of a set from Dotty P's.

Sunday Favourites #152

It's that time of the week again...


Very wise words! All I wanted growing up was to blend in with the crowd and be like everyone else, but once I'd left college I realised being different can actually be a good thing. It makes you the awesome person you are, so don't fight it- embrace it!

I LOVE this lady's hair and make up.

This is such an amazing photo.


I've never seen a lion look more vulnerable and frightened than this little guy. He was kept in a small metal cage at the circus for thirteen years, and hadn't even felt the earth beneath his feet until he was rescued by an animal sanctuary. Then he moved in to his new home and his bewilderment at the grass, rocks, and space turned in to utter happiness. I cried watching the video!
