Sunday Favourites #136

Time for a little Sunday inspiration...

I love this rainbow arrangement from Wright Kitchen.

This dress. ♥

This is such a cute kitchen.

This strawberry garland is so cute. I love the gingham dress, too.

I want to make some rainbow coloured bunting!

I adore this beautiful badger tattoo from Martyna Popiel. It's one of the best tattoos I've ever seen.

Another stunning tattoo from Sasha Unisex. I want a fox tattoo so badly!

Ashley's dress closet is to die for.

I'm itching to make some pretty hoop art like these Liberty ones.

This colourful office space is so cheerful.

I could sit and watch this GIF all day.

A tortoise with his own sense of style. Obviously.

Louise's Lovely Links

♥ I feel really inspired after reading Jemma's '15 creative things to do' post.

♥ Have you seen the photos from Nicolette Mason's wedding? She looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress, and the post was lovely to read, too.

♥ Becky explained why there are no "wrong reasons" in blogging, and I couldn't agree more.

♥ 18 inspiring quotes about body acceptance from celebrities. Surprisingly, the quotes came from ladies of all shapes and sizes, which is refreshing to see.

♥ 40 awkward things patients have actually said to doctors. Are people seriously this stupid?

♥ And let's finish with a little bunny shaming. They may look like butter wouldn't melt, but they're really little terrors!

If you'd like to see more images (and articles) like these, why not check out my Pinterest and Tumblr accounts?

Thanks for reading.

Matalan Fruity Novelty Clutch Bags

I've added three more novelty bags to my collection this week.  I know, I know; I already have enough of them for an episode of hoarders, but I just couldn't help myself.

They were on promo, though, and I spent less than £20 on all three! Want to know how, and where from? Keep reading!

These fruit-shaped clutches are all from Matalan. At only £8 each, they are so purse-friendly, but the best part is, they're also currently on 3 for 2! All three bags, plus delivery, came to a few pennies shy of £20! Bargain! The promo is running until the 2nd of June, so there are only a few days left to snag a bargain or three. If you're coveting more than one of these clutch bags, now is the time to pounce!

My favourite of the three is the watermelon clutch. I've wanted a watermelon bag for years, and I'm so glad I held off until now. This one is exactly what I've been looking for. The colours are bold (but lighter than my photos show), the design is so quirky, the faux leather is as soft as butter, and it's surprisingly roomy, too. I even got complimented on it the other day when I took it with me to the supermarket.

The lemon wedge is essentially the same design as the watermelon, and it shares the same great features. It's got plenty of room for the essentials, it's well made, the fabric is soft... The strap is even big enough for chubby wrists. It's so bright and cheerful, but more of a soft lemon-yellow than my photos show- my camera doesn't seem to like yellow, especially on grey days.

The other lemon clutch is a little smaller than the other two, and it's also quite flat, like New Look's novelty clutch bags. It has just enough room for a few essentials, but you'll never fit the kitchen sink in this one. I can fit my phone, a slim purse, and my keys inside with a little room to spare. The quality isn't as good as the other two clutches, but for £8 I really can't complain. It's well made and I think it's cute.

I have to say, I'm so impressed with the quality of these Matalan bags, especially for the price. In my opinion, the quality is higher than that of New Look's (which I also like), and they're £5 cheaper, too! These clutches are my very first Matalan bags, and I'm so pleased with them, I just might have to go back for more. I'd love to get my hands on the ice cream cone!

Have you got any of Matalan's new novelty clutch bags yet?

Wednesday Wish List

Another week, another Wednesday Wish List...

1 // 2 // 3 // 4

I love these sweetheart-neckline swing dresses from Lady Vintage. Not keen on the bows? That's okay; they're detachable!

1 // 2 // 3

I'd love to add these three navy Dorothy Perkins dresses to my wardrobe. I have a real thing for navy clothes at the moment.

1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6

Dorothy Perkins also have the prettiest pastel sleepwear right now.

1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6

And another bunch of clothes from Dotty P's- last one today, I swear! Just look at these gorgeous colours! I'm particularly taken with the yellow scallop-edge jacket, and the black heart-print shorts.

1 // 2 // 3

Yours Clothing have a fantastic selection of leggings at the moment, and these colourful cropped ones have particularly caught my eye. I think they'd all look great with my yellow polka dot dress, as well as with a bunch of other dresses in my wardrobe. They'd make a fun alternative to black. I also discovered that Yours sell legging shorts, which I want to get my hands on to wear under dresses this Summer, so I can work on baring my legs in public with a little more security. I think they'd help  to prevent chafing, too.

1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6

I wish I could wear heels because all of these colourful New Look wide-fit heels are gorgeous. All that colour makes me happy.

1 // 2

These wide-fit sandals from New Look are lovely. I only wish New Look sold wide fit shoes in EEE width, too, because I can't always get their sandals on my horrible, monstrous wide feet

1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6 // 7 // 8 // 9

I've fallen in love with an Etsy brand called DesignosaurYEAH who make the most amazing, quirky laser-cut jewellery, and accessories. They have a big selection of dinosaur pieces which come in a rainbow of colours, and these are just some of my favourites. I can't decide which I like best, but I'd love to get my hands on a plesiosaur piece, and the black glitter triceratops is pretty damn awesome.

1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6 // 7 // 8

DesignosaurYEAH also have the funkiest animal pieces. I adore the sloth, koala, whale, and elephant.

1 // 2 // 3 // 4

And last but not least, I'm loving these stunning circle skirts from The Oblong Box Shop. Aren't the prints amazing?!

What's on your wish list this week?
